Where do I get a set rims for the back tires for a 4020? Also what do a new set of tires cost for a 4020? Where do I get such tires from and who puts them on?

For NOW I am in desperate need of some new rims or good use rims!!

Bought a used 4020 rim from a tractor salvage yard today for $115. Got to be there when they come in though. IMHO radials on a 4020 is a waste of money.

It's probably a toss up on the Deere guy or the tire guy really. The Deere guy was closer, so I drove mine up to him on one of the coldest days of the year, no cab. He was comparable on tire prices, especially when factored in time, and gave me a list of tire manufacturers to work from depending on ply and bias versus radial. You can get bias probably from $400 a piece, and radials for as much as over $1K a piece. I went Titan radials, not the most expensive, and with mounting came out to be about $1K a piece. Deere guy won't load them though. The Deere guy can get the rims, but I'm sure a tire guy can get you rims too, and can load them for you on the spot. Talk to your tire guy and Deere guy, bet won't be much off if you're talking apples and apples on the tires. Business is kind've slow with the Deere guy and he's looking for business too. He might surprise you on pricing because he's gotta eat too, and chasing guys away won't help that. Neither may have them in stock and may take a couple of days to order.

We were needing tires and rims for our 4020 and bought like new duals from a neighbors auction and just knocked off the band from the rim and used rim/tire right on the wheel. chris

It all depends on what size tires you want on the back 34 or 38 inch ,but I had one rotted out on the FIL's 4010 and the deere dealer wasn't to bad on new rims .But since steel and fuel has jumped be prepared to pay double what I did 4 years ago .tires last time I bought 15.5x38's were close to 400.00 installed for firestones 23*,s
