Well we got hit again today by storms. My front field right now looks like a pond and a pond you normally can't see from the house is to the point you can see it out the kitchen window. We have got around 4-5 inches of rain since around 5AM this morning and its still coming down.

Febuary and March were the wettest on record for Springfield MO. Anyone want to take bets on April?

Old, my son and I were kind of close to your area a week ago. Went to West Plains to pick up a load of cattle. Our route took us through KC and Springfield, so we weren't exactly knocking on your back door, but it certainly did look wet in the area we were in. Too bad you had to get so much more. A half inch wouldn't be bad, but 4-5? Wow. Jim

We got the worst of it here in Michigan. There was a narrow band of about 3 inches and it was right over me. I'd sure love to get a rain like that in July. Still didn't take all the snow away. Got some where it was piled or drifted.

You'll need to install a rain diverter and set it on the drought areas to your east over in GA SC etc.

That is a big system, probably headed our way, we got an all day'er today, but not several inches, yet.

One of my clover plots, was turned over and disc'd 2x, levelled nicely in the fall, to avoid ponding etc. and help dry sooner this spring, you could walk on it a few days ago, but I see the lovely ATV'ers and a lone dirt bike rutted it up and they are filled with water. You just have to love these people, the one on the dirt bike just had to turn around in it, people are so considerate aren't they.

If they were, they'd have bogged right down directly under 115,000 volt lines, in mud.
