I have trouble with the lifts on my to35.They do not raise unless tractor is at full throttle and my positioning lever doesnt have any effect on the lifts.I have checked everything and changed oil with gl-1.I am fixing to change my relief valve, but before that I have drained my oil again and have found a loose 12" spring in th bottom of the housing under the hydrolics. It is not attached to anything and the two springs above the pump are still there.Does anyone know what this goes to?I have discovered it might be a guide rod spring but I need to know what a guide rod is and what it is used for. Thanks Doug

The spring is approximately 10-12 inches and about 3/8" diameter, but I don't believe its off the quadrant rods.I found the exact spring pictured in a parts catalog and its listed as a guide rod spring.I am not familiar with that.Maybe somebody knows something about it.DD

Possibly one of the springs off of the quadrant lever rods. What diameter and length is the spring.
