See lots of pics on the tv about the flooding down your way. How are things for you?

We got 6 1/2" here in N. Texas and weren't in the middle of the storm.

Don't laugh about picking up fish. When my pond overflows, like yesterday, I usually go out in the pasture (gently sloping with lots of grass) and pick up my fish....they hide in the grass facing the rushing water. Always perch of about 2" and every once in a while I'd come across a bass of a half pound or so.

Didn't go out yesterday as mud was everywhere and I just didn't feel like it. Besides fish population is way down from the drought of '05 and '06.

Mark

Most of the water has gone down. Still a lot of puddles around and the creek is still flowing but other then that and now having to fix my road things are good. I have to wait a few days before I can do much to the road because of so much mud every where

Yep but I have never seen a time that fish got trapped because of it over flowing. The pictures I posted yesterday was of the creek and where it was and should not have been LOL
