Does anyone know of any shows in the Portland Oregon area the week of the June 10th? I will be out there that week and would enjoy seeing the equipment that was (or is) being used.

All:

Thanks for the information and the advice. A rain suit has been packed. Walt: If I get the chance, I'll give you a call if I get the opportunity to get out there, but baling hay - I'm not so sure about!!

Thanks

Bob

There is a tractor pull at Banks on Saturday and Sunday. It will be mostly stock, mostly older tractors, but there will also be garden, V-8 mods, a couple of Superfarm/SS tractors, and a bunch of truck classes. We have a web site, North West Tractor Pullers Assoc. I don't have the link handy. but it is listed as a link on the Pulloff page.

Hi Bob,
The big "happening" in the Portland area that weekend is the Rose Festival Parade. We call it the "Rain Festival" and our rule is don't cut your hay until after the Rose Parade. The shows don't start until late July, the best being the Great Western Steam-Up in Brooks about 35 miles south of Portland. Even though the show won't be going on, the facility is open during the day and it would be a good trip for you. Do an Internet search for "Antique Powerland" and it will have all the info.

Enjoy your stay!

Now you tell me BUMMER. Well we have most of it in the barn before it started to sprinkle.

Bob I'm only a few mile south of Portland at Monmouth, OR come by and play with my Old case and Working Cockshutt.
I'll even let you bale some hay.

Walt
