Back in the late "90s, I bought Greg McGrew"s first tractor from him, and it was also the first tractor he ever sold in his life, a John Deere 430T. He Needed the money at the time, so home I went with the tractor. At this time, he was located not too far from my house, in lineboro, MD.

Fast forward about 3 or 4 years, he gets tied up with Wolgemuth auction services, and a year after that, he gets his own auction business.

Sometime in "03 or "04, he gets his own auction property on the corner of 216 and 214 in Spring Grove.

The next thing you know, he"s got 5 or 6 flatbed Petes loaded with tractors every day headed to and from Polks. I knew what was going to happen, and I was right.. he got Polk.

And now that he bought out Polk"s parts business, He"s been busy adding to that huge wad of thousands of dollars which he carries in his pocket (yes, I saw that).

And some members of McGrew"s family around here have reportedly stated that "Greg intends to buy out most of the tractor salvage yards in America in a decade."

So, some of you were wondering who he is and where he came from... A small collector from the boondocks of Glen Rock, PA.

And yes, he wants his first tractor back.

The Hunt Brothers tried that with the silver market, too, and that didn't get them too far...

Seven Valleys, just a little West of York, PA.

He also opened a retail establishment down the road from me a little bit in Manchester, MD.

I have not bought anything from him yet, but have bid on some things that interested me without success.
