Hay -OLD tractor back fired

Started tractor up and it run pretty good. Adjusted the carb both on power and idil. Then turned if off and on a few times and it just fired up good. ... Left it alone for about 1/2 hour and went back out.. Kaboom out the exhaust and would not hit a lick. Any ideals?

Will check on this as soon as I can. Having to go to Arkansas again. Father inlaw did not make it this morning. Got call at 5 am and will wait to see when service for him is for heading out. Also heading for doc my self this day.

Well, you just worked on the carb. If you haven't already done so, back off the intake pipe away from the carb and try starting it.

These carbs are prone to flooding after being apart, fills the intake pipe with gas.
