Does not work on speeds 1-3, but does work on 4 and 5. Would this be a switch problem? Or is there a seperate circuit board that controls the heater fan?

Thanks for your opinion/suggestions

Anthony N.

You will need to stand on your head to see and replace it.

There is a resistor located in the bottom of the heater box. It is located in the right side of the passenger compartment, close to where your left foot would be. The plug-in sticks down. Costs about $28.00

pull the plug out of the blower motor and see if its melted, not an uncommon problem,. gm has a service repair kit with a heavier plug and wires to update it. the resistor is located right nto the heater blower motor. under glove box on passenger side.
