It really is as you can see.

We got another 8"of drifting snow yesterday that has to be cleared again.

Its getting deep enough here that most guys have no where to push it anymore. So they have been calling me.

Did 17 drives last week after that 12" snow so am expecting the same today.

It is a pain in my neck.

the county here in IA county is having troubles. i hear the grader had to hit a drift 8 times w/ the V plow just to punch a whole. My neighbor was bragging a week or so ago about his 9400 and degelman blade. I talked to him and preped him i might be calling if we needed to go to the hospital to have a baby, he said, no prob, nothing stopping me. Today he calls, "do you expect to be needing out soon?" since we had the baby on V-day, I said we were good, he says that's good, i'm afraid i'm going to end up in the ditch or stuck before i get there. those 30-40mph winds really piled the stuff up. my dog ended up on the porch last night-he had been shut in his 6' high chainlink kennel, and i saw the tracks where he walked out. enough already

We just got back from the farm show in Louisville and oddly enough there is more snow down there than we have at home right now. While we were gone we got a couple of inches of rain, or so I'm told. bill

If snow is a pain in the neck. I would suggest rolling up ones collar. I'm getting tired of the white stuff myself. Yesterday we had a thaw and rain that melted/settled down most of it. The freezing rain the news media cried about for two days, never really developed

I would trade you that snow for our rain in a heart beat.

I'm so tired of ice and water, at least you can move snow. Ever little stream keeps overflowing and we have maybe 3 inches of frost in the woods.

Not really "Maine" weather...

K

A pain in your neck from looking backwards? At least you are in a warm cab. Funny how its fun the first few times of the winter but soon gets to be a drag. Hope you are appreciated for the other 16 drives.

I feel for ya man. I wish you could send us some up here in the north. Madison Wi is 45 inches over normal in snow and where I am we are about 30 inches below normal, raises heck with my hay crops, hopefully we have enough this year to prevent winter kill. Haven't had a normal snow year in 5 years or more. Have momma rub those kinks out of your neck. Have a good one.

We're 45 min. north of Madison, have had over 100" so far, 30'' in the last 8 days. Below ZERO again for the next 3 mornings, after that warm a little(never normal) and another major storm. We haven't seen dirt since right after Thanksgiving(is it still brown?) Kids around here will make up snow days till Labor Day. Have a Tranquil day, Dale

We were at 134" a week ago and have had 12" since. Getting a couple inches of rain today though, what a mess that is.
