my nieghbour recently bought a MF 3090 2wd tractor, he put a new front end loader on it, then put his snow blower on the 3 pt hitch, his 3pt doesnt work, is it something he had done when loader was installed, ps he doesnt now if the 3pt hitch worked when he bought it. the former owner didnt know either because they never used it, lets hear FEED BACK on my nieghbours problem. thanks

That's a tough one because we don't know what he (or whoever installed it) "did" when they put on the loader. Is the loader powered from a "power beyond" port off the tractor hydraulics, off the remotes, or a front pump? Did he install the loader, or did he have it done? If he had it done, the first step, of course, is to go back to the installer.

I'm not at all familiar with that particular model of Massey, but many of their tractors will use an isolator valve on the hydraulics when an aftermarket loader is installed. Look under the seat for a valve with a lever that will switch hydraulic function back and forth between loader and 3-point hitch. Again, this may not be the case, but it's a place to start looking.
