In the mail today was a 16 page flyer for the Nebraska auction. Did not need to read the fine print already done so on the other post. Who is selling my address Polk Bros, Green Magazine, Two Cylinder, or the Sec of Sate of Illinois. I looked over the Auman pictures posted a few months ago and unless this was not a complete listing the sale has been cherry picked. I would think the Auman Bros will get over a three million dollar settlement with out selling one tractor?

Where did this million dollar number come from? From what I have been able to gather, Aumann never owned any of the stuff. They only had a contract to run the auction, which was canceled when all the tractors, land, etc. was sold to someone else.

If that's the case, then it seems that Aumann's only issue is breach of contract against whoever signed the auction agreement. In that case, about the best they could hope for is to recover their out of pocket costs, the lost profit they would have received from the sale, and maybe some punitive damages.

I have heard that Dennis Polk bought everything and Kruse is just selling whats left.If true look for Polk to have another sale at his place with some gangbuster stuff picked from this lot at his place this summer.

The way Kruse operates, I would not be surprised that they sold some of the better stuff under the table before the sale.

That's what I thought all along. Someone from Aumanns said they're looking into it with their lawyers I think on here. Just that post or if it was a statement copied from somewhere, was very professional and showed that Aumanns has some integrity. It wasn't bad mouthing and said they will be having many other sales to attend and hope people could attend. My hats's off to them. That shows some class! Dave

If you go and bid, have your high bid in mind before you bid and subtract the 10 or 15% from your bid and that should be your bid. Like any auction do not get caught up in the heat of the battle and overbid. Self discipline at auctions makes your checkbook (and your spouse) much happier.

To the principals that have led to this post: We are not going to attend this auction, we are going to boycott it and let you play with your cherries, and you other people, wherever you are- FU2.

your state sells list to different places. in Wi. the DMV sells name list. the power co. sells list. if they can make a buck they will do it. you can get list of name of line for a price and some are free no end as to how to get them

I get a magazine called Acreage that came today. It had a Kruse ad in it with something new I haven't seen or heard before. It says 10% buyers premium for tractors and heres the new twist 15% FOR ITEMS $500 OR LESS. And as if the $10 admission isn't bad enough-I thought it would be for the entire sale- they say it is for each day!!!! Oh and they will give 100% financing on all items. I wonder if the interest rate is 100% or if they mean the whole cost can be financed. LOL

He probably means a lot of the more desirable stuff has already disappeared through deals on the side, without involving the auction.

What exactly do you mean by "cherry picked"?
