If you have a tractor that is hydrostatic drive what do you do if the tractor stalls and you cant get it started? Is there a lever on the drive train to disengage the wheels so that you could tow it into a garage to work on it? Even a car with an automatic transmission has a neutral to shift into. Give me some info here guys.

On the old Ford Select-O-Speeds, there was a way to disconnect the differential so it would free wheel for towing.

Mine has a bypass valve which allows the transmission to operate in a neutral situation.

It's the same way on my Kubota. It has
three ranges and you just put it in neutral.
