Is this what our country is comming too. I think all of this out of control kids started when the teachers, and principle lost control of kids in school. When I went to school the teachers had control of kids, and we dare not be sent to the principle's office. Every kid in school knew what fate awaited us there. Our parents could beat our butts, and we couldn't call child protection, and have our parents put in jail. This country is being turned up side down. Just look what is happening in the San Francisco area the marine recruters are being told to leave the town of Berkley. Stan

Sad thing but gun control isn't the answer. Back 30 years ago kids had guns but they didn't have video games that taught them to shot things up. Its not the gun thats the problem but the way kids/people think now days that is the problem. Guns don't kill its the wrong people with the guns that do. baning guns will not help or even slow down the killing since if a person really wants a gun he will get it and a rock will kill if used the right way, just talk to David

Old, You are 100% RIGHT, gun control is not the answer.

There are a lot of the video games and songs played that should have never been released.

I agree. I must also add that alot of parent allow these video games to be in their house, even allowing under age 10 kids to play, adult games, because they are too lazy to spend proper time with the kids themselves. You know, they need their time off at the bar, what ever they can do to live like they did in highschool. I know a couple that there sons are in there rooms doing anything they want 24/7 except for school, then their parents get to "entertain" there social click. We dont associate with them anymore, I checked out their kids myspace pages. My goodness they are horrible, I emailed the parents to check it out, and they replied that they dont have time to babysit their kids. WHAT!!

Exactly- it is a devaluation of human life and the family structure. Laws will never correct that- the pendulum needs to swing the other way for a while. My wife of 38 years is an elementary teacher, many years in kindergarten, now into first grade, retires June "09. She agonizes over the lack of family structure in her school kids- see"s it getting worse over the years. Not an age thing- her younger compadres see the same thing. 2-3 disruptive ones in the class this year- and she spends most of her time just making them shut up and sit down! (my description- she"s much nicer!) And I would have slapped the little %%^*()many years ago. She"s too nice- must be why she puts up with moi!

Old is 100% correct, Violent video games are responsible for many of these murders.. Video games are as bad, or worse than drugs, to destroy the minds of people.

Plus when the stats made people spare the rod they made us spoil the child. Now days kids are not raised as they should be and don't even have a clue what a good days work is and if they did they would have a lot more respect for what goes on in the world

Changing the Constitution might be at start.
probably ok in Abe's time but don't seem to be relevant now. If the Country needs a gun I'm sure Uncle Sam will give you one.

Bull Hocky!!!

Uncle Sam gave me a gun in the latter part of the 60's.

He also taught me how to shoot it and to be able to kill people with it, but I don't go around shooting people.

Guns don't kill, it's the person using it period.

I am 100% for being able to own a gun.

People need to teach their childeren the proper way to handle a gun, and what the results are if it is handeled or used in the wrong manner.

My wife had a fit when my seven year old wanted to learn about guns, I showed him the proper manner to handle a gun and taught him to be able to use one safely.

My state (MD) changed some laws related to guns, the owner is held responsable to see that it is kept secured at all times when not in use.
