Moving to Florida shortly. Can anyone tell me if there is a vintage tractor scene in this state? Fairs, tractor shows or anything that will let me indulge?

Saying goodbye to all my Fords in the UK.

Thanks to all who replied. I hope to be moving to Rockledge just North of Melbourne. Not quite in the country like i'm used to but at least the sun shines there and i'll have a pool to look forward to.

Where you moving to in FL? I am located in N. Florida (Sanderson).

We (N. FL Antique Power Assoc.) participate at annual county fair first week in Oct with antique tractor show and pull.

May 2-3 this yr. we are putting on Yesterday"s Horses tractor and draft horse show.

Just getting done with plow day over in Lake City, FL.

Ocala has tractor pulls in Feb.

Fall thru spring is when most of the shows occur down here. Email is open.

are you going to any of the auctions at Kissimmee? I got a dump truck there last year on internet bid & picked it up after the sale. Gonna go in person this year, next week to be exact.

Go to>Link

That will tell you all about the major shows in Florida.

Billy Newman, of St. Cloud, Florida does indeed have a big collection of Minneapolis Molines, some restored, some not.

There's some guy in Florida with about a zillion Molines, including a bunch of rare orchard models- he was on an RFD tractor show awhile back.

What part of Florida? There are significant differences between the various parts of the state.

Agreed, if your in Lake County there's a good chance of finding tractor collectors but people in Seminole or Orange Counties don't even know what tractors are.
