I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.

When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, 'What's the matter old man, never done anything wild n your life?' Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; knowing he would have a good one. And in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response, 'Got drunk once and had relations with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son.'

Might have been posted before. But I have not seen it before and maybe many others have not either. You need to get a grip in life.

How old is your dad? I think the kids today look Soooo stupid with the baggy pants, tattoos, and all around poor attire, just sloppy looking. I am 39 and still looked presentable as a teenager 20 years ago. Why do these kids today have baggy pants that show off there underwear? can anybody answer this for me? Is it supposed to be cool to have your underwear showing in public? The inner city kids are the worst.

All teenagers of every generation looked stupid.
And their music was right from the devil himself.

Thats a good one. I don't like a lot of things I see kids doing these days, I'm just 33 and a lot has changed even since I was in school. Think about it though, these young kids are not the whole problem. Where are their parents at? There are not nearly enough good parents anymore. Kinda sad really, seeing all the kids with no one to look up to.

Lessee now . . .

The teachers complain that the kids are not getting their values and discipline at home, where they should be getting them. But parents are being dragged into court for spanking their children.

And parents are expressing dismay that their children are not being taught values or disciplined at school. But the paddle was banned long ago, and anything that might hint at values has been deemed to be religious in its origins and can't be alluded to in the schools.

Gee whiz. Where would a good-at-heart kid look for guidance?
