Was wondering if you'all know what the going rate
is for custom hay haling. Small sq bales from the field to the barn? Here in centeral Oklahoma they are getting 75cent to $1.10 per bale depends on how far from the field to the barn. That is if you can find the help teenagers don't want to work that hard anymore.

I get a dollar a bale just for baling sm squares and leaving them in the field. If I have put up the windrows, i get a little over 2 bales per minute. I'll use about 3.2 gals fuel ($10)and 8 bucks worth of twine in an hour. My attorney gets 150 an hour My financial/tax guy the same. Body shop a bargain at 50 per hour. Gordo

LOL I use to be a hay hauler back in my school days. Got 2 cents a bale for doing that. Work my butt off for it to. LOL
Had two other friends who helped .. they to go 2 cents each. The guy that own the truck got 10 cents for him owning the truck and gas. He did no othe work.
That was in Kansas on a farm. Now the only real good thing to all this. Is when farmers knew rain was coming in. They would call the school and us three guys got out early to go get it out of the field. Now I had hay fever bad.. but money was money! My one friend was scared to death of black snakes. lol I think he had the fastest feet in town when it come to seeing one then. LOL
