Hey All,

HELP!!!! I bought a 1964 Sears Suburban 725 Riding Tractor Model # 917.60634, for my husband on his birthday. I have looked until my eyes are fuzzy for the manual or manuals & wiring diagrams for this tractor. Does ANYONE know how I can get a hold of these? This has been my worst nightmare since September 2006. I found the complete parts list at sears, but that is all I have found. Please help me before my husband brains me for my gift to him. Thanks....Tabitha

You might try the Garden Tractor forum; someone was posting about a voltage regulator for a Suburban tractor.

I collect Sears tractors from the 1930s - sold as "Handiman" tractors. If you go to the Handiman website, there will be several links for other Sears and David Bradley tractors. That's where I'd start looking.

Thank You RN,

It's a Briggs & Stratton engine. This should have a model # as well if I'm not mistaken. I will go look that up to see what I can locate.

I have a tractor just like it. The engine is a Briggs & Stratton model 19D. I got the manual with it, but I just cannot find it now.

Check the garden tractor site. Sears had a couple different suppliers for garden tractors. Check the engine cover for brand- the engine manufacture manuals will usually take care of tuning them- as engine probables Tecumseh, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler. RN
