Today I stop and looked at what appeared to be an old tractor. It was an MF with a round nose on front and on right side was the fainted letters 33. Old farmer said he gave up after his wife died on tractors. Said it run but needed a battery and some gas. Was in good tin shape but of rusty color everywhere except that 33 number.
Said he wanted 1500.00 for it. But I was only looking and stretching my legs from the trip I was on. Was wondering what it was for sure and what it might be worth. Thanks

Larry, do you remember that WC you helped me with?? Well I also picked up a MH 33 from the same place. Non running its not worth more then $500 top and thats with good tires on it. I drove that MH33 I have on Monday, drove it into my shop so I can work all the bugs out of it. The year would be in the 1950s give or take a few. The one I have I think is a 1953 but not 100% sure seems like I'm getting to many tractors to remember the years of some of them LOL

Old,The 33 oil press.pickup is on the lower right side just in front of the air cleaner.Just above the where the pan bolts on.A little less then half way between the carb and cleaner. You may have to take the air hose off to see it.

Hello Rich. I kind of thought this tractor might be in the early 50's. Also thought that the price might be just a bit high to. As I said .. he said it run. But sure was of rusty color everywhere, motor frame wheels etc. He also has some kind of Long tractor and it to was rusty and rough. No price on it. One other place I stopped. Had an old Moline with some other junk tractors around it. Thought of you and left a note for him to call me tonight on it and a case of early 58 there. But have not gotten call .. maybe he is out of town. That's real neat you were able to drive it into the shop to work on.
