F30s are increasing in value. I'd say you got a good buy. Congratulations

Nebraska Cowman,

How can you say that Steve got a good buy, when he didn't tell us what he paid for the tractor?....

Cuz what people pay sets the market. And he admited he already bought it. So even if he paid "too much" that just makes it worth more.

I would think twice before I painted it if it has never been painted before. Now if it has been painted, bad job, peeling, etc. then I might paint it. Most people when they repaint, use paint that has the wet look and you could use it for a mirror. If I were to repaint I would use plain enamel and make sure there was a little orange peel in it.

all i can say, is for all the trouble and time you go through to paint a tractor, i would rather have a sweet job. otherwise leave it original and youll be able to work it. just my opinion. pg
