Message to follow as give to me-Coil for a FM number R2477C. The trade mark looks like this - FM is in a circle with a hand holding the circle and hanging from the bottom of the circle is a cow bell shaped object. End of message.

OK, on the feed back. Not looking for a FM mag. Item was found in a box of parts while looking for something else.

1936,

I certainly hope this made sense to you, but it certainly was a useless, clueless waste of time for the rest of us!

That emblem is a FM scales but the R2477C coil fits FM J & X mags. Original FM coils now cost out the wazoo but quality aftermarket ones are available too for less. I only carry and use the aftermarket ones with no problems with them so far and they are both made at the same place.

F-M = "Fairbanks Morse".

You're needing a coil?

Try Bill Lopolous, (978)-649-7879 OR, E-mail: blopoulos@aol.com He has a fairly good supply of FM parts.
