Hi all, Every time I have a few minutes I research earth movers scrapers for a tractor mount (front end or three point hitch)I have yet to find something I like. I have an 65 hp 1962 Oliver 770 row crop and I would guess I need to put duels on to be able to use this tractor for this job. Questions. Has any one done this and or know of any suitable implements out there?
For the amount of dirt and width that I need to do, the Oliver 990 scraper(http://www.visi.com/~jweeks/stuff/oliver/photos/o990.jpg) would be ideal. Does anyone know of any for sale? (drool)or have any information on these units? Were they successful? For a machine built in 1958 it sure looks good.
Later Henri

When I was going home from work a few years ago there was a Super 99 scraper unit setting at the edge of a woods straight west of Toledo. It is all houses now.

There was aquite a few oliver scrapers built, they also by the name BeeGee Speed-haul. They were a well built rig for there time. They either used a 990 or 995 Oliver power unit and were hydraulic controlled. Alas most have gone to the great tractor yard in the sky. There was more than 3 built. They were made for about 7 years. If you can find one in any condition you would have an item.

Someone my correct me but to my knowledge there were only about three 990 scrapers built. According to the owner of the one I saw.

Well, if there were only 3 made, they are all at Greenville, Ill. I think Ollie Schafer owns them.
