It's been a few weeks since I checked your progress here. I hadn't heard you finished the Gleaner project and had moved on to something else. Congratulations!

I'll go back a page or two for the finished photos of the Gleaner.

Why did you remove the front end? Did it fall off from the long drive back home?

Marvelous idea. A segway on steroids! And a Farmall to boot. You've done it again Allan! Better hurry up and get down to the patent office before someone steals your idea. Dave

Hang enough weight on the drawbar and you can get rid of that jack and the blocks.

I sure hope you put some proper cribbing under that front end before working under there I would like to see you get at least as old as I am.

You really don't have to go through all that work just to change the anti-freeze.

Yeah,

Took me a whole hour to get that sucker off of there. Had to have been a factory installation in '52.

Every blessed bolt fought me to the finish. Gotta remember to put the ol' sow back togther one of these days, I 'spose. :>)

Just swappin' out front ends.

Playin' in the snow, mostly. :>)

I inspected it for essence of cinderblock and found none. Goooood work:-) Jim
I kinda liked the way it looked with the Snows on it. Reminded me of a set of GripSpur tires I got in Amarillo,TX. Jim

If you were closer I would of traded you front ends. I have a M with a narrow front. Your gearing this up for a "raker" tractor, aren't you? Man...if you get any more tractors, your going to forget what its like to unhook equipment and pull draw pins.
keep at it.

I agree on the 2+2. Hang another M on the front and go for it. Dad used to run one when he was younger. Probably pulled more than anything else around back then.
