Woke up early this morning and thought I was turned around as the bright sun was in the west.

I thought about going out to cut wood last night about 7pm cause it was so bright out with the snow on the ground.

We had snow this morning, so I missed it. We've had full-moon nights with snow on the ground when you could stalk rabbits with a scoped .22--if it was legal. I din't but it sure would be fun just once.

They were talking about that on the news last night. They said the moon is at it"s parigee. It is 50,000 km closer and about 30% brighter than normal.

So bright here in western Washington this AM, I didn't even need a flashlight to go to the barn. About 17 degrees this AM.

Unfortunately, I was not at the Grand canyon last year the last time we had a monstrous full moon. I was in Sedona, around route 89A at the time, and I wish I was at the canyon to see the moon reflect in the valley.
