Last week I posted my troubles with a kid-mover van at work. Threw a new distributor cap, rotor, and coil at it (I really hate throwing parts when I'm clueless) I got nowhere so over the weekend the boss called a shop and they fixed it. Turned out to be the crank position sensor. Out of my league anyway. Special thanks to Nils Retweller who talked to me on the phone about it. Anyway, the van's all fixed, thought you guys should know. Thanks!

Great, I`ve also seen em go bad to where the thing will start, run fine, but kill the motor in reverse.
When the motor flexs the wire shorts out. Weird stuff.. Glad to here she`s runnin again

I've had to deal with "no-start" Goat V-8's of that era TWICE, and both times, it's been the crank position sensor.
