I was just wondering if people are having a harder time selling whatever they may have over the ads or is it just me? I think I got quite a bit of nice stuff available at a decent price and I am having a hard time getting any replies. Seems odd, usually a photo ad gets some replies, even if their tire kickers...

I cruse the photo adds once in a while. I also monitor ebay items I am looking for and have a good average middle of the road for the pricing. I feel that most who are shopping have spent time pricing. I have found it both ways good prices and rather off the charts pricing. Large high tickets sale items in my view are better placed on ebay for a broader bidding base. Don't know what the hoods market value is. It's yours to price, but in sales never fall in love with the iron or as I have been told it will look good on the sale bill on auction day.

This would be my stuff, and I guess in my opinion I'm not that far off from the prices we see in Minnesota. Maybe in Missouri you guys are lower priced, but here they command a better price, AND I'm always open to an offer. My hood is in very good shape, and a good hood is NEVER sold in a junk yard for less than 600 bucks, ever. The parts I'm offering are in very good shape, and they are priced much lower than Deere. Like I said, I'm open to offers as well, and I got to start someplace on pricing.

i have been looking for a couple different tractors but if there cloes to what there worth. then add 500 mile trip on top with price of fuel it can get pricie to buy one. i think that could also be slowing down sales

Prices are low, people are not buying - poor time to sell. Better time to sell would be after people get their tax refunds...

I've noticed eBay is pretty low too.

I was looking at some crap on e-bay, May be just me but looks like people are not buying. Lots of things with a few min left to sell and no bids. Could be just me, anybody else seeing this? Rickey (KY)

I have never sold there but I bought my first classic IH there and the second on the classifieds. I think stuff sells if it is priced to market. Not saying you are one, but there are a LOT of overpriced items there. Occasionally, if I really want the item, I will make an offer but rarely. When you make a truly fair offer and get accused of trying to "jew me down" or "get something for nothing" it gets old fast. You will have to take my word for it, I was trying to do neither.
