I would like to know where you can buy a sleeve puller & ballpark price. I am surprised that this site & some others don't have them.

a store bought sleeve puller will run you 4-600 dollars, the hydraulic ones are more. you can get them thru snap on, mac, matco, any of the tool trucks. there is an outfit that advertises in red power magazine, e & b or e &k machine out of missouri that sells a nice sleeve puller that they build. dunno the price. if you know someone with a lathe, they can cut you the pucks out.

$4-600? Yes,I have a lathe, but anyone can go to a machine shop, buy a "cookie" for a few bucks, drill out the center, and add the bolt and construct a top U-shaped fitting. Cost should be under $10.

Are we talking wet sleeves or dry? 'Bead of weld' technique may be required for dry sleeves.

You could make one like the puller Keith made. You would need to have puck machined to fit the bore of the sleeve. Hal

Give Dan a call at the link below. Several have purchased his sleeve puller and are very satisfied.
