Went to get the mail this morning & we're having a cold spell here right now. A friend says to me "the weathers doing the same thing as the stock market- it's going down." I said "well one thing we know about the weather is it'll be going up again."

Here's some more humour:

It was real cold here today. The sun was shinning but the wind was talking here in Missouri where I was. ...Went to an action outside and thinking I would get the brush hog I wanted at a good price cause of cold... shesssss Almost everything was going real high and the bidders must have had frost on the mind! Lot of stuff went for more then new and I did not get my brush hog either. However a stranger leaned over and said to me! I got a better brush hog then that one for xx money and give me his card. :) After 4 hours in bitter cold I gave up and went home. Took me almost two hours to get me warmed up. Burrrrr rrrrr rr
Going Tuesday to look at his brush hog now. :)

Reminds me of an auction here one time. Early spring and a cold front came through during the sale,it got cold real quick, started raining and the crowd didn't thin out at all. A neighbor said "ya ever seen anything dummer than a bunch of farmers standing out in the rain waiting to spend their money?" I said yea, those of us standing out here in the rain that ain't got any money.
