Forgot to cover the tomatoes last night, maybe froze by now, 17 below. Sun came out and I saw one jack rabbit pushing another to get him started. Keep warm!

- 15 when tall kid when he took a cat into vet at 8:15. darn cat got into fight with another cat and had a bad abcess. i'm glad i ain't milking cows and have to drag manure spreader to field today.

If you guys are that cold, I guess we in central IL have a heat wave, it was only -3 here. But the wind helped it feel like -10-12 according to the TV.

-24 at 6am here. Nice thing about the no chickens in the barn right now, makes a great warm place to put anything with an engine ya want to start. 70 degrees in there!! My boots on the wood stove, left them out side. A tad bit too cold to stick my feet in the rubbers today.
