is it me or are others having this same problems. been looking for a 340 ih and a old junk 2010. haven't been any on this site but on some of the other sites send several different guys and dealers e-mails in the last 10 days and only one responded to my e-mail. all the tractor are still listed. some time back send one to a guy on this site never heard back from him. do people who list tractors for sale now not want to sale them or just won't respond to e-mails even though thy put one in the add.

I assume that if someone is truly serious and they do not receive a reply email from me within a couple of days that they will call. I always list my phone number because some people are using public computers and may not have an email address they can check daily.

Phone call is always best in my opinion... even though I"d rather meet face to face, phone is still way better than email.

I've had guys complain that they sent me an email and i didn't reply when i never got it.
I've responded to the photo adds and never got
a response on this site, but responded to an add on another site an got a reply.I asked kim about this,i sent her an email and she responded right away, so i don't know what the problem could be.I've found that some of the people selling tractors are less than honest about there tractors, don't like to answer questions, and sometimes don't know anything about the tractor there selling.I've had several back out on deals,or sell you out for a few extra bucks.I figure they just don't answer some emails that ask to many questions, there looking for a sucker that will just send them the money.

Heck there are a lot of people out there that don't have an IQ much above room temperature. A lot of the time there are no phone numbers and when they do answer an email it is a couple of days later. I did an email exchange and after 3 emails finally got an address/phone number and when I called to go look, the guy told me he sold it 2 days ago. What is really scary is the fact these people would be considered to sit on a jury. Peers my foot, Idiots.

if your not on my list they all go in junk mail . so i check my junk mail everyday and like craig said no phone number, i have sold some tractors on this site and had no problem reciving mail when someone was instered in a tractor. when your saleing a tractor you get lota tire kickers but the one you dont answer just might be the guy with the cash.

If you have an account like yahoo that has a junk (or bulk)folder, or operate on a server like at work or have a setup at home to sort out junk, a whole bunch of emails that are sent "thru" a site like this or other forum and a even ebay ends up there. I've noticed that my mails will hit the other folks, but their reply will end up in my junk box. just a thought.

Just a guess - but being in the IT field, website maintenance is a whole lot more work than some folks think...

"Real life" changes faster than you expect (like what is on the equipment lot) when you have to reflect every change on a website - and for many small business owners website changes fall way behind the customer at the counter, the flat tire on the work truck, etc...

Also, I've seen some otherwise very top-notch business people who just never get around to answering emails - they will read them, but just never reply... Not sure why that is.

If all else fails- call them. I suppose they think if one was interested enough, they would call.
