HELP, I'm assuming my 420,Crawler is to have the 6
Volt battery installed Pos. Ground. Having the Starter repaired,Which, was needed, Hasn't fixed my problem. The old battery, tested 6 volts, but I have no way to check Amps. before I install a new Batt, which I'm sure is needed, I want to be sure its Pos. Grnd.as to not get the polarity wrong. Another Question, What would wrong polarity do to the Eletrical system?

If you polarize or flash the generator, either polarity works. Wrong polarity will make the ammeter read backwards and the coil should also be swapped to match the battery polarity for best running. So you could check the coil. If the + primary terminal goes to the points its most likely positive ground.
