Has anyone out there had any experience with Robert's Carb repair?

I have not had any work done by them, but have bought parts and videos. If it is just a carb rebuild, you'll find it less expensive and a lot more enjoyable to order their videos (How to Rebuild DLTX Series Carburetors Part I and Part II), The #40 and #53 drill bits and a carb rebuild kit. This is assuming you are rebuilding a carb for one of the letter series JDs

After you have seen the video's, rebuilding one of these carburators is easy, enjoyable work, and the results are excellent.

Every carb I've had them do worked great. Problem is turn-around time. I sent them a DLTX 10 in May of last year and have yet to see it. Called them about a month ago, they will be getting to it soon. Needless to say I have since bought the tools and equipment to rebuild them myself. CalJim

Good folks, long turn around time, kinda pricey. I just get parts, and understand Bob is not so involved anymore, and a few question marks about the new managers. I don't think you will be disapointed.

I have not had them do any repair, but have bought several parts and repair dvds from them. First rate service and everything was fine--good people.

My dealings have been good. Also had good dealings with Mainley Mag and Carb (out of Maine).
