The dealer installed option being talked about here is still not a true live PTO. It's a driveline clutch found behind the transmission. It would allow yo to stop/start travel without stopping the PTO but it still doesn't allow you to shift gears without stopping the PTO. 'Twas a step ahead, but not live PTO and certainly not Independant PTO which is the norm today.
The 660/860 were the first Fords with true Live PTO. The 671/81 and 871/81 were the first Fords with independant PTO and the 5000 was the first that had a GOOD independant PTO...

the jubilee original sales catalog advertises live pot as a option, but the tractor did not come with it unless the dealer installed it before delivery, it will have a extra handel to operate the feature, but today, there are very few jubilees or naa's with this option

no that little handel is the draft/ position control, i believe the handel for the live pto was on the left as you sit on the tractor and it was about 10 or 12 inches long, what it actually did was to operate a clutch pac that disengaged the rear wheel while still providing power to the pto

Live PTO allows the operator to start and stop the ground travel without interupting the power to the PTO.

live pto is found on most modern tractors, the main reason was to provide constant power to run machinery regardless of what the tractor was doing, its nearly required to run a hay baler, and is real handy on a corn picker, allowes you to stop the tractor if it is about to clog up the machine and keep the machine running full speed to clear it

No a Jubilee didn"t have LPTO and it was"t an option. The 600 series was the first with optional LPTO with the 660 and 5 sp.The Jubilee was the first ford with live lift
