with the s130 skiddee, It lost its virginity this past weekend hauling chicken manure out of the barn, close to 300 tons, all by it self. Couldnt be happier with it, used a 78" low profile bucket on it and it handled the loads fine. Very fuel efficient and manuvered in and around everything just fine. Had 3 small things wrong with it when it was delivered, dealer was right out and took care of everything. Very Glad I bought it, just wish I would have ordered a radio in it, 12 hours straight in a skidloader really made me realize that!

i would only recommend a bucket with teeth for hard soil used a bucket with out teeth to grade did just fine except in exceptionally hard ground

I have a 463, a 753G (which is absolutely identical to an early s-130 and nearly the same as yours) and a T-190. I love the gold pkg on the T-190. Check ebay for a radio. Genuine Bobcat excavator radios are $275 or so. Pricy, but built to take the bumps and shakes. The excavator radio package has antenna, speakers, wires, etc---ready to put in. I've done 2 of them. Your bucket is too big for dirtwork. If much digging and grading, you'll need a 62" C & I bucket with teeth.

Congrats on a great machine!

Welcome to the club Dave. I really like mine. It is not "better" than a tractor loader in all cases but for so many it beats it hands down. Bob

Very nice, Dave, very nice. Miss Right said she'd love to have a Bobcat skid loader on her farm someday, I'll have to get your pointers when the time comes.

I was gonna ask you how the long distance romance was going. Sounds like the fires still hot?

Yep, still hot. We're still figuring out when she's gonna come down my way for a visit, but it's been very smooth sailing thus far.
