My tractor has a Hydraulic system preset lever. Says in book this lever is used to select position control of draft control operation of the lift system. Would someone please explain this better to me. Just what does it do and do to what area? I have front loader and rear 3 pt. There is a note: "Lift arms should be in upper position before selecting draft or position control."

The draft control is what keeps the equipment at the correct depth. As in a plow, you want it to stay at the same depth at all times.

Why do you not say what tractor you have?

Jim

My tractor went to the place I bought it from today. They said I have two cylinders leaking and losing fluid on the loader. They also said the screen on the front pump that controls the PTO hitch is stopped up. So that to is being fix at no expense to me. :) They went over the tractor with me today on levers and what does what with me.

Sounds like he's describing my 880 David Brown.
