very sticky throttle on my H

hello-i"m having trouble in cold weather getting throttle response until my H is warmed up-maybe 20 min or so-is itgrease srtiffining up inside the housing the control rod connects to? it is ok when warmer weather is around-thanks-hasnk

Probably moisture freezing. I'd change the oil and cover the radiator so the engine has a chance to warm up. Short runs and winter time are not kind to engines.
