The same way it came in. Last year in Jan. we had the ice storm in Missouri and now we got snow then sleet and then freezeing rain today. Weather man is calling for more freezeing rain for the next few days. Sure hope it isn't near as bad as in Jan.

Normally our ground freezes in the fall, thaws out once, and freezes again for the rest of the winter. This year, we put in a culvert under the road, last week Monday, with a horizontal boring machine. By Friday we had 6 inches of frost, (first of the season) got 8 inches of snow since then. Last year we put several thousand feet of drain tile in the first week of Dec, had a few inches of frost at the time. Thawed out, went discing on Dec 16th - latest ever in 34 years. Rained the last week of Dec., wanted to disc New Year"s eve, past midnite- just cuz I could in MN- first time ever. Couldn"t- field was too muddy!

Hey Rich, I am getting freezing rain now.Had a touch of snow yesterday. About 18 degrees or so this morning, but going into the 40's and 50's in a day or two so the man says. I remember you were out of electricity about 9 or 10 days last year. I have gone 9 days before and 7 one time. It is a little unhandy, but I am set up for it.
