We had to take a few things to town and get dog and cat food and and a few things for us at Wally world. the weather gal said it was going to clear up by noon or so. HA! I rained it poured the wind blew like crazy everything is flooded and it just a nasty day all together.
On top of that I had to deliver a tractor to a friend down the road a piece so I got off to a wet start.

Funny thing on the way into Salem we saw a new house going up just the frame so far. It was almost under water. I wonder what the new owner thinks now.

Walt, figured it would bew flooding over there last nite and today. With all the snow in the mountains and this durn warm wind out of the SW, all that water has to have some place to go.

Glad your house is high on the hill side, if you got flooded out sure would be a lot of folks houses long gone.

Just watch out for all those idots out there on the roads and in town...

Take care!!
PS... put your webfeet on your going to need them..LOL

Walt, Before I retired, I had to deal with stupid city folks all the time on drainage problems. They pick a nice low spot & build 2 blocks too low and can't figure out where all the water was coming from. Most bought their lots in Aug. or Sept. They had to find someone to blame! Even got drug in to court once to testify to the fact that I saw the lot under water many times. Developers are good at cutting old field tiles and swearing they never worked before they built the house. They would tell the new owner it must be a spring, not their fault-----an act of god!! Boy are they going to get theirs one of theses days! Maybe their getting it now?

it was ridiculously rainy last night. cold, foggy, and just plain nasty. The temp nearly hit 32, but it hovered on 33 for most of the night, so no salt on the roads. Ground's still soft and warm here.

Haven't had that deep 20 degree freeze yet.

Went to work last night and it was 70 degrees. Woke today at 2:30 and was a little cool. Now it is about 35 degrees and I will be working outside all night long. Supposed to go to 24 degrees.
