Met with 75 yr old bachelor who has collected all his life and is now parting with most all his collection. What an amazing day to see all this early vintage implements and horse drawn equipment. Has 4 Duetz tractors that he wishes to sell as a unit. Two D-8005 six cylinder diesels, one D-65 4 cylinder diesel and one D-50 3 cylinder diesel. All have the C.C.I.L. plates on them and are in very nice shape. Two have been used for pulling in the past and all have had some motor work and repairs on whatever was needed. All tires and sheet metal are very good. I have no idea as to value on this make so need some help. Do these make good pullers or farm workers? Also has 5 Super M's and 2 M's and 2 Super C's plus 4 barns full of interesting stuff. Like a horse drawn man controlled "wiggle" cultivator and numerous other stuff I had never seen before. Was an interesting day to say the least. Thanks Migraine

I've seen good and bad in them. Neighbor to the north was the first one around here to have one. I think that was about 1972. Had a 100-06. That thing was in the shop a LOT MORE than it was on the farm. Rearend was totally junk. When he traded it off on a new AC 7000,the bolts that hold the drawbar on were all stripped out of the casting and it was held on with chains and binders. On the other hand, another neighbor has several. He buys them cheap at auctions. Says nobody else knows anything about them and don't want them. He swears by the darned things.

You must mean Deutz.
Don`t know about prices, haven`t seen any been offerd for sale.
They are good farmtractors. Not very good pullingtractors. Topend from the engine is to weak. (head and cilinders)

Sorry about the spelling. That tells you how little I know about them!
