bias tube in radial

can anyone tell me if I will have a problem with putting a bias tube in a 15.5x38 radial??? will the tire flex and rub excessively?? Would like to put fluid in also...comments please...

Can you even get a bias tube???? Around here all that's generally on the shelf anymore is the radial tubes which work just fine in bias tires... In fact, they probably work better in bias tires period since there aren't too many tubes that really work well in radial tires.

Problems? Yes. Yes. Yes..... .....Your bias tube will be turned into shreds. Little pieces of rubber that used to hold air. That"s why you buy a bias tube for a bias tire, and a radial tube for a radial tire.

Yes you can BUT it will last only about a 1/4 of what the correct tube will last from rubbing etc. causeing holes

the bias tube is a lighter tube and w/ lower air pressure run in a radial the flex in tire will wear out tube. The real problem in bias tubes are their seams, where the cross type seam is on tube is a weak spot prone to failure. spend the extra cash and use only radial tubes. I quit using bias tubes 7-8 yrs ago and about 8-10,000 tire repairs/replacements ago. spend it now or spend it later
