Hey guys I have decided to taker on my car instead of another tractor. It is a 1941 dodge 4 door sedan. It is in decent shape and should be relatively easy. Anybody know any websites where I can find parts for this car. Any magazines I could find that specialise in antique car restoration. This will be restored to original condition not hotrod. Thanks in advance

Look for one fully restored and check value. You don't want to be disappointed. Also this would determine what you do yourself and what is practical to hire out. I stopped restoration on 41 Olds since it apparently had little value and little interest. If you love it, then no price is too high. Good Luck

I would also try " www.moparts.org " and go to the street rodders forum. There are several people restoring and/or rodding old Mopars on there, but they WILL want to see pictures.

As chuck craig pointed out, Old Car Weekly. Also, get on the Old Iola Car Show website. If you could hook up with some of those people around the Iola, Scandinavia, Waupaca area, I'm sure you could find plenty of parts and helpful advice as well. I remember the old Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler dealer in that area. Miles LoBerg, of Norwegian descent. He was also the black market Cadillac dealer. There were no Cadillac dealers nearby and he could get you a brand new Cadillac cheaper than anybody. Sold mostly Dodges though. Pushed them hard. Lots of them in graveyards now. Our rural mail carrier used a Dodge 4 door sedan with fluid drive all during World War II.

Same thing here. I decided to restore a 1930 Murry body Model A that I have stored for 25 years.
