930 case

hey everyone, here too pick ur brains!!! i just bought a 930,it has a 1030 injector pump on it, i had it recalibrated for the 930, and it is havin probs. overheating with a load on it, the cooling sys. is fine rad clean, no restrictins, the tractor has been sittin for approx. 10yrs, i put fuel additive in the tank and it seems to begettin better! but in about 3hrs of workin has burned 3/4 tank of fuel!!! any ideas?????

i would check and replace the thermostats. that's what it sounds like

Mine has dual thermostats so the overheating with a load could be that one of the thermostats is stuck since it has been setting for so long. I would also make sure the fins on the radiator have been washed out good. Did you flush the old fluid out of the radiator and put new in?

930 Case needs double fan belts and they need to be tight.

As for the fuel over load..no way should the pump pump that much fuel if calibrated for a 930.
But check the timing.
