I have sold my farmall H that I restored a couple months ago. I was hoping to restore a Case DC or SC next, but I can't seem to find one by me in my price range. What do you suppose would be good tractor for me to restore next to resell? The only thing that I will have objections to are JD's. They just aren't my style.

Dalton; I have a Case D that is very restorable if you can handle the engine work. Had a bad cylinder when I bought it and it has just set out there for 3 years now. Just not getting to it. Located in Bemidji MN so not too far away. I could send pics if you are interested. Bob

If I remember right it was a oil or water drilling rig. Had a hit and miss engine on it with a real long wheel base.

I agree with Scotty, other than being green, it"s probably repairable if you can afford parts.... ;]

I'd just like to take a moment to say you must trust your chains a lot better than I do mine. That one on the back of the ford looks a tad light.

I would help that little ford. I could pound out then weld the hood to being acceptable temperarily and if i got her some new rims and tires it may be worth it. The engine apperes to be missing a few things.

Yep, that little ole tractor brings back some fond memories of my teen-age years. Had a girlfriend of about the same vintage year as that tractor - prettier than a new 8N right off the line. Saw her a few months ago and she is now in about the same shape as that little Ford, cept"n she is about as wide as the John Deere lifting it. Restoring her would take about as many body parts as the tractor is gonna need and neither one of them is gonna be worth what you put into em moneywise. Both of em would benefit immensely from dim lighting and a couple of six packs..... (course she kinda implied the same about me????)

Please make sure you get that little Ford out of the way before you start to dismantel that other tractor. I would not want you to scuff the paint or dent the hood

Don't seem that bad. You can bleed off the hydraulics and that bucket'll come right down.

I live outside a little town called Alma Center. The area that I live in outside of Alma Center is called Garden Valley. I can't say I have ever heard of Woodville.

About as far west of Eau Claire as you are south. 24 Mile marker on I-94.
