The original subject was "Re: Duetz Tractors".

I"ve got a dx160. the only problem I have with it is the three point lift. wont go down, its in a bind somewhere. Hydraulics are a bit touchy sometimes and need to be cycled a time or two to get them to work. It"s got lots of muscle and always runs cool even in the hay fields on a hot oklahoma day. Biggest gripe I have is where do I get parts and who owns them this week????? ?? The cab is a bit short especially in a rough field!!!!! I would buy another one if I could find a reliable source for parts.

Look up Same-Deutz-Fahr Norcross Georgia for a dealer locator. The marketing deal with Agco finally ended (designed to break Deutz) so they are signing up dealers again. I will have a Dx140A to sell by spring same tractor as the 160 with smaller fuel tank and diffrent pump setting. Try removing one or both of the lift assist cylinders on your 3 pt to make it lower you won't need them except if your load on the 3pt is about equal to the wt. of the tractor. You will have to plug the line to them.
