Well last night I became a Grand papa again for the 3rd and 4th time. Yep #3 and #4 where born in Boise Idaho at St. Lukes hospital. My daughter called me around 6:30 and said they where going to do a C-section and then she called again around 11:45 to tell me they where ok. Oh Walt no wise cracks I know I'm not all that old. LOL.
Also if any body out that way has a pedal tractor they would like to give to a little boy my 2 year old grand son could really use one. I'd buy him one but money is far to tight but he needs to be started out soon with his own tractor LOL

Old, we have two grandaughters and one is in Moscow. She's three and has a CASE-IH she may be ready to part with by the time your grandson is ready for one. I'll keep it in mind. I'm from south Missouri and don't get out there too often with gas prices the way they are. Congratulations.

Congrats OLD!! I'm stuck at 6 grandkids for now, but there's still hope for one more. My own observation is that grandchildren decrease a Grandmothers IQ about 10 points each. My wife used to be very intelligent, but around the grandkids she is just plain nuts. Of course it hasn't affected me at all. Paul

Congratulations, Too bad that they are so far away, harder to spoil them at that distance. Have 1 grandson from youngest daughter and husband, hour & 1/2 away. All he talks about is Nana,Pawpaw, tractor, combine. When he gets here all he wants to do is go out and set or ride on tractors. Hope you get to see him soon. Chris

old: Congratulations, your not getting older, just getting better. You must be, your offspirng is turning out two at a time.

I only have one grandchild yet, he lives in down town Toronto, 18 months old and his first two clear words 3 months ago were TRACTOR and BACKHOE. His city grampa up staged me, bought him a 1/16th 4x4 new Deere. Takes the presure of my 1/16th collection. When he comes here, he can't get out of the car fast enough, nothing measures up to real tractors with this boy. He has already figured out how to get on real tractors, unassisted.

Congratulations! I hope you can find a way to be with them when they get a little older- my folks were never too involved with their grandkids (my kids)- not hostile or anything, just not "there" very much. I have two grandsons now, and another on the way- Mine are close by, and I'm going to really try to take them places, etc. to be a part of their lives. Unfortunately, one daughter-in-law's father just died of early onset Altzheimers at age 57- he was a great guy, and its a shame he won't be a part of their lives.

If my grandkids get any farther apart, they aren't going to even know they are cousins. My daughters kids are 13 and 15. The boys haven't even gotten started yet. But sisnce they aren't even married, that's a good thing.

Congratulations! My oldest (daughter) got married a couple of months ago. Maybe I'll be a grandpa someday afterall!

How did you end up with a daughter so far away from you? You're in NC if I remember, right?

My brother lives in Boise. Nice town, I like it. Reminds me of what Salt Lake City used to be like when I was growing up.

Congratulations. We are expecting number 6 in two weeks. I ask never to be told the s-- of the unborn cause that is why they call it expecting! Three fourths of anything good is the anticipation. Yes I have bought all 3 grandsons toy tractors and the oldest now has his own cub cadet model 70. Loves to drive it around and will be starting kids pulling next season. Enjoy them and try to have a positive influence in their lives. That is something I never got from my grandparents. Migraine

I got number 4 on the way also, due in January. It sure makes you look at the word grandpa in a whole differant perspective. When I was young, grandpas were really old, now I is one of them old grandpas. Ain't it great! My almost 5 year old grandson thinks my IH B is his, he don't want no pedal tractors!! LOL hope your daughter and kids are doing great. congratulations
