have a safe and productive day. Good luck! I'm off to the stand now for a day of sitting, and hopefully bagging a buck, or doe. Again be safe!

This year our household is waiting for muzzleloader season. They changed the rules in southern MN. If we picked All Season....They only offered 200 doe tags for the 2 weekends. By going with only with our smokeguns we can go after does or bucks. Last year they allowed 3 deer with this license...2 does and 1 buck. I will check with our relation how they are doing when I haul corn in. Lots of water and corn around our hunting land. mnjoe

Here in Michigan the smokepole guys get a real nasty deal. Get to hunt after a month and a half of bow hunters pounding the deer, and then the rifle guys get to ravage the woods for the last half of November, and then in December when the weather can be brutal, the muzzle loaders get their turn. IF THERE'S ANYTHING LEFT TO HUNT. Suppose they could carrry their muzzle loaders during rifle season, but why? Think the DNR allowed the muzzle season as an after thought, just to shut up the small group of enthusiasts.

Yea - lots of corn left standing for the deer to hide in this year.

Good luck to all of you guys. My boss fell out of his stand last weekend and broke 7 ribs all along his spine and also broke his collar bone. Just got out of the hospital yesterday. Stay safe up there.
