I have a oliver 1650 with a yeararound cab and can"t get heat out of the heater. I don"t think the water is circulating thru it I have reversed the hoses and tried to bleed air and no luck. Any advice?
Thanks Don

A very common occurence. Air lock. Remove the return hose and run the engine until coolant bleeds through.

Don,

Had the same problem last winter on a new to me AC7000. Checked the obvious and all the other things.

When I lifted the roof off the cab, the last person to put it together pinched the heater hose flat between the roof and the support.

Good luck,
Rick

Is your thermostat good. The heater won't work very well with a thermostat stuck open or missing.

Plugged heater core. Try attaching a garden hose to one side of the line going to the cab with the other disconnected from the engine. With low pressure, see if you get anything out of the other side. It might be time to flush the entire system.

Sounds like air lock to me. I would unhook the return line at the engine and run the tractor and let it push the air through the line. I've have had this problem before. Very common with the core being high above the water pump.
