Good to be a sports fan in New England! in reply to Jimmy King, 10-28-2007 21:06:57
With the Patriots and Red Sox at the top of their games, and Celtics looking like they may be back in contention (after a few high cost vetran "purchases") WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE, SPORTS FANS ??!!

Even my son's high school footbal team is undefeated!

I do have one worry though RE: the Patriots. I've seen some signs of some of them becomming too "in your face" in their celebrations during games. I hope they don't become bad winners. I harbor bad feelings for decades because opponents acted like a$$e$ when beating the team I was rooting for.

Worst World Series I have seen in years. So lop sided it just wasn't any fun to watch it at all.

Hey, we were just happy to be there. With a little more luck and a mistale or two by the pitchers, it could have been diferent. Sox are a good team and those Boston people are good sports..see you next year.

I have to agree. I was rooting for the rockies the entire time. Red socks won recently, why don't they share the wealth?

Yeah your right, while your at it why dont you give me your antique tractor, i'm sure youve had it long enough and i think you should share it with someone else. Better still, how about your house, land and/or truck too. Sox waited 86 years to be back on top. Spent alot of money, pleased alot of fans. If the Rockies were better, they would have won. They werent better, they lost. Too bad.
