Trying to remove the steering arm on my 46 VAC so i can remove the engine. Removed the nut but not able to remove. Is there a secret to getting it off? Any help would be appreciated.

Put a bar under it that will allow you to get some upward pressure on the arm, then hit the side of the part holding the bolt with a 3 or 4 lbs hammer. a good sharp tap should to it.

We usually just take the drag link loose at the front instead of removing the arm. You can pivot it up and over and let it lay against the floorboard or clutch pedal.
