I just traded a rusty front end loader system for a 430 ji case. I want to change or clean the hydraulic filter or pto filter. Can some one tell me where on the tractor it is located. I dont have a manual yet.

Robert,This is a photo of my 530 (clutch pedal side) in the far upper left hand corner of the photo you will see a steel tubing just below the battery tray this is attached to a 90 degree elbow. The piece the elbow attached to it should have four cap screws that holds the cap to the flange. Remove steel tube from 90 degree elbow then remove the four cap screws bolts. The filter cap will be spring load somewhat to hold the filter in place. Hope I didn"t confuse you to much its clear as mud to me. Mike

You should go to the Case forum, but since you are here the hydraulic filter is on the left hand side of the torque tube, above the hydraulic dip stick. You have to remove the large tube that runs across the top of the trans. housing at both ends and then there are 4 cap screws that secure the end of the cannister that contains the filter cartridge.
