i have a farmall 504 it looses power going up hills does anybody know what might be the problem?

I'd be looking at compression first. Possible governer or clutch issue, but compression would mostlikley be it. Most other things will show up other ways too. Also check fuel flow. Look at the spark plugs and they should show that. Mike
